Issue paper 'Climate Research Africa' published

The Issue Papier of the DKK working group on ‘Climate Research Africa’ consolidates the perspectives of German climate research on focal topics in the cooperation with African partners 2012 to 2020. It concerns the thematic design of partnership-based programmes for research and capacity building. In the third meeting of the working group on 14 September 2011 the core principles of the dissemination and communication of the issue paper were elaborated. The working group welcomes two new members: the University of Potsdam and the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy. Thus, the working group has grown to a total of 22 members plus one association, the German Marine Research Consortium.
