Tilman Santarius has been Managing Director of the German Climate Consortium since September 2024. He previously worked at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy (2001-2009), the Heinrich Böll Foundation (2009-2012) and the Technical University of Berlin (2016-2024). Tilman Santarius received his PhD from the University of Kassel and the University of California, Berkeley (2012-2015) and holds a professorship for socio-ecological transformation at the Einstein Centre Digital Future. He has published numerous journal articles and several books, which are available on his personal website.
