Tobias Fuchs has been a member of the Executive Board of the Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) since 2019. He is responsible for the DWD’s climate and environmental services (Operations and Research), which include the implementation of the results of national and European research activities into user-oriented government climate services. Tobias Fuchs studied meteorology at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. He has been employed by the DWD since 1993 and has held various management positions since 2006. From 2002 to 2006, he was seconded to the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research, where he served as a national expert. Tobias Fuchs was already a member of the DKK Executive Board from 2019 to 2024.
