For many years, Senckenberg - Leibniz Institution for Biodiversity and Earth System Research has been dedicated to interdisciplinary and integrative geobiodiversity research, a holistic investigation of the Earth system. In this context, significant changes and interactions of climate, environment and organismal diversity are considered over different time scales in order to better assess future climate and biodiversity changes and their consequences.
